He is an organized and astute Security Officer, with an eye for detail, with over 30 years of varied experience in handling Security, Disaster Management, Communication, Peace Support Operations, Training, Logistics Administration and Personnel Management. He is an effective operator in changing environments and being able to handle time effectively. He is a tenacious team player in all he undertakes to participate in. He serves as the country consultant for the International medical corps as well as the continental representative for the centre of Disaster and Humanitarian Assistance Medicine

Col Anami served as the Director at the National (Disaster) Operational Centre. He holds a MSc in Risk, Crisis & Disaster Management from the Leicester University-UK, INSARAG (Search and Rescue) awareness training from South Africa., a Diploma 7th Course on Law of Internal Displacement from Sanremo Italy. He also holds a Certificate in Crisis and Mass Disaster Management from the Galilee International Management Institute in Israel and a Diploma in Security Management from the East African Institute of Security Studies Kenya. He brings on board extensive experience gained both internally and from abroad.
